Goals & Objectives
The primary goal of the MCC Education Committee is to provide well-rounded, interesting topics to attract a diverse membership to monthly meetings. These meetings should meet the follow objectives.
- Provide answers to technical questions through MCC’s website and/or newsletter.
- Provide a balance of technical, design, constructability and market-oriented topics to inform its members on the latest in concrete technology.
- Provide information on opportunities and issues with design/build in concrete construction to improve the perception, competitiveness, and increased use of cast-in-place concrete.
These meetings are typically a mix of joint meetings with related organizations (ARM, ACI, CRSI, IACRS, ICRI, MC&MCA and SCA), roundtable discussions among members to debate issues, and presentations on new concrete related products and technologies.
The Minnesota Concrete Council is host to a variety of educational seminars for our members, as well as contractors, engineers, architects, designers, specifiers and owners.
